Starting with a simple question and mushrooming into an insightful, often-hilarious look at the social and economic impact of African-American women's hair, "Good Hair" is a breezy delight. The contest is the flashiest thing in the film but also the least compelling.
Much better are Rock's explorations of such things as the use of [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Styler, the main ingredient of which - sodium hydroxide - is strong enough to burn skin (evidence of which is shown by pouring some on a chicken breast and watching the results, or watching it eat away a soda can).
