When people talk about the comic book industry, what they average is superhero comic books sold to comic book stores. I worked very hard to convince comic shops that kids' comics could be an momentous part of their monthly revenue, and foster a new spectators that could sustain them for decades. Suite 101: Do you believe the comic paperback industry is dying for some say because of the path comics are marketed?
Gownley: Is anybody mentioning namely? I don't understand anybody who's saying that. Or, perhaps more accurately, everyone is always saying that. I educated to stop catching it seriously around 1998.
