Centred around ten-year-old Chihiro, the film explores the adventures of the girl when suddenly, in the midst of her reluctant move to a new town with her parents <a href="http://www.sneakersoutletonline.com/nike-air-max/nike-air-max-2011" target="_blank" class="postlink">AirMax 2011</a>, finds herself in an alternate world of spirits and monsters all controlled by the witch, Yubaba. <br />Whilst in this world, Chihiro is given a new name, Sen, by Yubaba and put to work in a bathhouse used by spirits. Her friend, Haku, who takes the form of a dragon, is also indebted to Yubaba and ends up sustaining several serious injuries after being attacked by a flock of paper birds following his stealing of a magical sigil from Yubaba. Having been told that the curse on Haku has been set by Yubaba&rsquo;s twin sister, Zeniba, Chihiro (Sen) decides to travel by train across the spirit world to Zeniba&rsquo;s house hoping that by returning the sigil, she will break the curse on Haku. Chihiro is joined o <br /><span style="font-style: italic">Porco Rosso</span> is Hayao Miyazaki&rsquo;s sixth film and was produced and released by Studio Ghibli in 1992. <span style="font-style: italic">Porco Rosso</span> tells the story of an Italian World War I fighter pilot called Marco Pagot, who due to a curse which has given him the face of a pig, is now called Porco Rosso. These include: <br />Beginning his career in animation in 1963 at Toei Animation, Miyazaki soon earned recognition for his contribution to such works as <span style="font-style: italic">Gulliver&rsquo;s Travels Beyond the Moon</span> and the1969 animated production of <span style="font-style: italic">Puss in Boots</span>. After moving from Toei to A Pro, Miyazaki co-directed several episodes from the prolific animated series <span style="font-style: italic">Lupin III</span> before directing his very first feature anime film, <span style="font-style: italic">The Castle of Cagliostro</span>, a Lupin III film. Miyazaki is also the co-founder of the famous Studio Ghibli along with Isao Takahata. <br />Born in 1941 in a small town in Tokyo, Hayao Miyazaki has, in his 68 years of life, created some of the most beautiful and magical animated films to grace the big screen. With renowned anime creations such as <span style="font-style: italic">Spirited Away</span> and <span style="font-style: italic">Howl&rsquo;s Moving Castle</span> Miyazaki has become a name recognised the world over and his popularity is showing no signs of decreasing as he continues write and direct new and ever more exciting films. <br /><span style="font-style: italic">Porco Rosso </span>is one of the only Miyazaki films that references accurate historical and geographical settings.
