Post subject: cool grey 11 Festival Survival Guide All you Need
To achieve maximum enjoyment from a festival, a little preparation is needed. First and foremost for consideration is cleanliness and hygiene. Before anyone embarks upon their first festival experience, they need to come to terms with the fact that they are not going to be properly clean for the next three to five days as there are no shower facilities other than maybe a few taps dotted around. The sooner this is accepted, the smoother things will run. Secondly, it is important to consider ways in which the levels of cleanliness can be improved slightly.
This is where baby wipes come in. Baby wipes are every festival goer’s saviour – a wash in a cloth! Shops now even sell deodorant wipes, so now, armed with just these two small packets, a week’s worth of freshness is instantly at hand with no fuss and minimum space wastage.
As soon as Christmas and the New Year’s celebrations are over, thoughts instinctively turn to the summer ahead. Everyone hopes and prays for a long, warm summer just like the one that no-body can remember!
The Glastonbury Festival started life back in 1970 when it was just a modest gathering with a few bands

As well as practical items such as these

, it is important when at a festival to remember the spirit in which it was intended. Festivals are there for people to share a love of music, have fun and enjoy time with friends. Armed with this thought and a few simple tips, no one will fail to have an amazing time.
In addition to the above, there are of course, things that everybody knows should be included in a festival survival kit. Wellies – especially if it is a British festival, painkillers - there are bound to be a few hangovers, earplugs – for when the sound checking begins at 7am and the night only ended at 6am, and last but not least a tent and sleeping bag that will not be missed if it happens to get left behind in rain that’s just too bad to take down a tent in.

Going hand in hand with the British summer, is of course the music festival. More often than not conducted in the downpour of the English summer rain, with attendees knee deep in the obligatory mud

Top Festivals Tips
There are several festivals to choose from, including V-Festival which takes place simultaneously in Staffordshire and Chelmsford, the Reading and Leeds festivals, which are held at, surprisingly, Reading and Leeds, and the Isle of White festival, which is one of the oldest festivals in the country and is still going strong. However, possibly the most famous and the best festival in the UK, if not the world, is of course the Glastonbury festival.
As anyone who’s been to a festival knows, the toilet facilities can be quite horrific, and germs can be a worry as there is no where to wash your hands. Most organisers do provide anti-bacterial hand gel in each cubicle, but this is normally all gone by the first afternoon. The best way to get around this is to buy a small bottle of gel and keep in a pocket or bag for use whenever it is needed. On the same subject, Toilet paper is like gold dust at festivals, and is rarely ever seen, therefore it is advisable to include a few rolls when packing.
