When the Adidas Beckenbauer Allround was realized in 1982, it was one of the best at that time. It was named after the German soccer legend Franz Beckenbauer, also known as “the Kaiser”. He was playing with Pele for the New York cosmos. With both of them on the team,Jordan Pro Classics, they won the championship three times. Adidas pays homage to one of the greats by releasing the newer version of the Beckenbauer. They really did not do anything spectacular on this edition. They stuck with the current 80s classic look with Beckenbauer’s picture on the tongue. Why mess with something great?
